Alien Isolation

So this is a older games but one I think those looking for a real scare. I played this when it first cames out and it took me back to when I watched the first Alien movie and the terror those characters felt becomes even greater as you tried to survived trapped on a station. Unlike most games which pit you against hordes of aliens instead you are being chased by one as well as other threats on the station. Having to hid maybe under bed or locker and holding your breath you hope your not detected by the monster thats after you. Another fun mechanic when you unlock is the motion sensor though it only gives you a general location its fun just hearing it beat faster as something is closing in on you. You can find it on steam and it ussually goes on sales at http://store.steampowered.com/agecheck/app/214490/

Resident Evil 7

A game that came out earlier this year and a return to the game that really kicked off the Horror genre in video games Resident Evil 7 bring it back to its elements. With the ability to play it in vr and being on a host of consoles this gem plays to the traditional strengths of horror and item management. Being played in vr in a environment that makes you feel like your playing for your life it truly seeks to scare you as you face off against enemies that are sinister looking and a story that makes you worried if your going to make it till the end. This is a must have game to play and you can get it here on steam http://store.steampowered.com/agecheck/app/418370/

Now this is just a small sample of some games I think you should check out. Their is many out in the gaming verse that can pick your fancy but I think these are just a few games to get you going. Hope you enjoyed and if you think their is one that tops these post it down in a comment below or let me know what your favorite horror game is.
