Greetings everyone today we have another fluff report this time talking about the first battle of the Athena Sector in the Horus Heresy and also a prelude to the main campaign with talks about the inital fleet battle and also the loyalist and traitor naval strength. Since im still producing fleets for these armies not alot pictures will pop up but eventually we will see these titanic fleets battles it out. Greetings everyone today im happy to report that im moving toward the first big campaign in the Horus Heresy. This is the start of my muilt media project and one i've been wanting to do for years. One of the big things about it is this will not just be a one off campaign but multiple campaigns that will go through the start of the Heresy till the very end and some elements of the scouring. This is a pretty ambitious idea but one I think I will be able to pull off with a few friends as well as having some fun. Greetings everyone, Aaron from the Soban network with a little post about some gaming goodness here on The Soban Network. So today I had my first game of Shadow of War for warhammer 40k and I have to say I was happily impressed. Now this game reminded me abit of the old mordheim table top games since its like a small skirmish game but with some RPG elements. Despite it also being some of me and my buddies first games we got through it pretty quickly so the rules are not to bad to learn. So today we did two games, the first one was our demo game and the second was our campaign mission. Our list where pretty basic and i'll post below a summary of our games. Opponents Kill Team. Hey everyone so a personal blog today to talk about getting back into the swing of the hobby and of course hobby progress. I think just the little things make up most of your projects and in this blog I think one of the things to talk about is setting up your personal space. So since settling in more I'm happy to say got a better hobby and personal space setup. Right now setup in the basement and got a lot of room I can grow. I set out on this setup with a few objectives in mind. One that I got my computer of course setup but also that I could actual work on projects. Lastly I just want to add some personal touches to it to make it more homely as a office. So as you can see I got my main rig setup with my single monitor. Its got everything I can need for recording both video's and audio and with being in the basement I got more ability to do that. The Horus Heresy rule book slated to be on preorder today has been delayed due to and im quoting from the article it self " Following a print quality check, the decision has been made to delay the rulebook in order to make sure it meets the exacting standards you expect from all Forge World products.".  Though this leaves us unsure of when we are getting our fabled redbook of glory I think this is a good thing. First off it means that instead of a rush production they are going to be able to recheck several parts of the book to insure its up to stuff. I hope this will also mean unlike some previous releases several rechecks of the book for rule wording, typos and other issues that have come up in the past will be also corrected and rechecked. Hey everyone today just wanted to share a hidden gem and one that brings some nostalgia into life. Today we are going to be talking and sharing my experience with Star Trek Adventures the Startrek Rpg by Modiphius Entertainment. Hey everyone so today fantasy flight snuck in a golden little treat for Starwars Legion. This treat was one I for sure was not expecting and it it had me cheering like the end of Return of the Jedi. So today there was several announcements and some of them took me aback and im glad they did it. So lets get to these amazing releases and show off some awesomeness. Alright coming out first is the Rebels with both the AT-RT and the Rebel Troopers. These are presented in the core starter set but you can also buy additional with these two kits. So warlord games has a very interesting campaign book coming out next month with it focusing on the road and fall of Berlin. This is a very important event in the history of world war 2 since after the battle of Stalingrad the Soviet forces had a very effective counter attack that would see the fall of the Third Reich. So right now on preorder and set to release in November this campaign book is action backed like previous books. Adding in new units like the dreaded NKVD or even some Hero's of the Soviet Union for some additional bonuses. Hey everyone just some fun items to check out that I have been personally watching on Crunchy Roll's Fall Simcast. Released every week this is some of the fun anime that I think is worth checking out this Fall and should hold you over to the winter. So this one that is abit different from the rest on this list but one I think worth checking out. Following the story of a NEET who drops out of the real world and work shes goes on to new adventures of a MMO. This is a romantic comedy and though its not my usual cup of a tea I think this is worth checking out with the traditional oblivious characters. Today is a very special day since forge world is giving a sneak peak at some of the future charcters they are doing and also showing of a expansion of material they showed off in previous games day. Today is awesome since we get a sneak peak at  Carab Culln a forgeworld charcter that has appeared in muiltple campaigns material and has been one of the chief heroes of them. The fact forgeworld is releasing a new take on this character is very interesting.  As you can see Carab Culln is no longer in his terminator armor and has been interned into a Leviathan Dreadnought. This ancient piece of wargear has been modified with the inclusion of dual assault cannon which is a interesting choice. I think we might be seeing more of this chapter and forge world items with the look rumored Imperial Armor campaign book as well as the recent release of tau should give any one playing 40k and 8th edition a bigger boost.  You can check out the full sneak ...

This is a smaller post but one that is still pretty big for those who love simulation games and city building. Paradox Interactive Cities Skylines has a new dlc and this one provides new changes that hold new mechanics as well as acting a new feel to this game. Green Cities is a dlc that focus on more earth friendly cities as well as working on more health for your citizens . This is a fun dlc and one that I have been playing since release and enjoy some of the new ways to build a city. With a focus on green economy its amazing watching buildings grow before you with tree and apartment gardens showing. These little details add in a host of new policies like forcing only telsa cars or more intense recycling programs. So for those that don't know I am a pretty big Star Wars Fan and anything that comes out related to it I always dig in. A few months ago Fantasy Flight games announce their new upcoming table top game Star Wars Legion. This is a exciting table top game which some are comparing to other games like Warhammer 40k or Warmachine but all based on the Star Wars Lore. This game joins several other table top games and with a market very saturated with such games why would I be excited about this new game system ? After reading a few reviews and also checking out the forum I think this is one of the most exciting games to come out by fantasy flight games. The company it self has a proven track record with previous games including both X-wing and Star Wars Armada who both have several competitive tournments running.
